1. Terms of Service
1.1 Agreement
By creating an account or using Solray AI ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.2 What Solray is
Solray is a personalised guidance companion that uses your birth chart (astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys), today's transits, and your conversations with the Oracle to offer reflection, perspective, and pattern. The Oracle is an AI voice. Solray is not medical, legal, financial, or psychiatric advice. It is one input among many into your own discernment, and the words of the Oracle should be weighed against your own judgement and, where appropriate, the advice of qualified professionals.
1.3 License
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your account is active. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or use the Service to train competing systems.
1.4 Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us at support@solray.ai if you suspect unauthorised use.
1.5 Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to: harm yourself or others, harass anyone, reverse-engineer the platform, attempt to extract another user's data, evade payment, or violate applicable law.
1.6 Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The Oracle's responses are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
1.7 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bobby ehf., its founders, contractors, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
1.8 Termination
You may close your account at any time from your profile or by emailing support@solray.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is handled per Section 9 (Retention) and Section 7 (Your Rights).
1.9 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Reykjavík, Iceland, except where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights.

3. Privacy Policy
3.1 Who is the controller
Bobby ehf. (Iceland) is the data controller of personal data processed through the Service. Contact: privacy@solray.ai.
3.2 What we collect
Account information: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted bcrypt hash), and timestamps.
Birth data: birth date, birth time, birth city, latitude and longitude. Used to compute your chart. Treated as sensitive; stored encrypted at rest in our managed Postgres database; never shared with third parties.
Profile content: optional profile photo, display preferences, public-profile flag.
Chat content: the messages you send to the Oracle and the Oracle's replies. Stored to give the Oracle continuity across sessions and to let you re-read past conversations.
Memory: the Oracle synthesises short, distilled memories from your conversations (one to two sentences each, not raw chat) so future sessions feel continuous. You can view and delete these at any time from your profile.
Payment metadata: a Teya subscription identifier, billing status, current plan. We do not see or store card numbers.
Device and usage: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request timestamps), retained for security and operations for 30 days. Optional product analytics (pages visited, features used) which you may opt out of from your profile.
Voice transcripts: if you use the voice composer, your audio is sent to a transcription provider (Groq Whisper or OpenAI Whisper) for speech-to-text. The audio file is not retained; the resulting text becomes part of your chat history.
3.3 What we do not collect
We do not collect your contacts, your photo library, your precise location, your microphone outside of the explicit voice composer, or your camera. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not sell your data.
3.4 Why we process this data (legal bases under GDPR Article 6)
- Performance of contract for the core service (chart calculation, Oracle chat, billing).
- Consent for the optional collective layer (Akashic Record, see Section 4) and for any non-essential analytics or research.
- Legitimate interest for security, fraud prevention, and operational logs (30-day retention).
- Legal obligation for tax records and lawful requests by competent authorities.
3.5 Profiling and automated decision-making
The Oracle generates personalised text using your chart and chat history. This is reflective content, not legally significant automated decision-making under GDPR Article 22 (it does not produce legal or similarly significant effects). You always retain the right to disregard the Oracle's output.
4. The Akashic Record (collective layer)
Solray operates a collective-intelligence layer called the Akashic Record. When users opt in, anonymised pattern signals derived from their charts are aggregated to help the Oracle recognise patterns across the field. We never share another user's identity, content, or memory with you.
4.1 What enters the Akashic Record
- Coarse chart components only (e.g., sun sign, Human Design type, Gene Key spheres). Never raw birth data.
- Aggregate pattern signals computed from your components, not from your chats.
- Themes are synthesised aggregate claims, not memory excerpts; raw chat content does not enter the collective layer.
4.2 K-anonymity floor
Cohorts and patterns surface in the Oracle's responses only when they involve at least 10 distinct users (k ≥ 10). Smaller groupings are suppressed.
4.3 Append-only history
Chart-component changes (for example, when you correct a birth time) are recorded as immutable events alongside the current state, so collective patterns can be traced over time. These events are deleted when you delete your account.
5. Tiered consent
You can grant or revoke each of the following scopes independently from your profile. They are not bundled, and revoking one does not affect the others.
- Private Oracle use. Implicit when you sign up. Required for the Service to function.
- Personalisation memory. Lets the Oracle remember context across your sessions.
- Anonymous product analytics. Aggregate usage statistics that help us improve the product.
- Anonymous cohort learning. Your coarse chart components contribute to the Akashic Record.
- Anonymous retrieval training. Anonymised patterns may inform future Oracle improvements.
- Public Oracle quote eligible. Marks a future possibility (not active today): if we ever post anonymised aggregate observations on a public surface, your contribution may be eligible. Default OFF.
- Research or protocol experiments. Marks eligibility for future opt-in research collaborations. Default OFF.
- Governance participation eligible. Marks eligibility for future opt-in governance experiments. Default OFF. Eligibility is not participation; any actual participation requires per-event opt-in.
Each consent grant is timestamped, version-tracked, and stored alongside its scope. You can revoke any grant at any time. Revocation takes effect immediately for ongoing processing; aggregate statistics that have already left an identifiable form are retained per Section 9.
6. Third parties we use
We share the minimum necessary data with these processors. Each is contractually bound to handle data only on our instructions.
- Anthropic (Claude). Generates the Oracle's chat replies. Receives your chart components and the relevant message history for the active conversation. United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/UK transfers.
- OpenAI (GPT-4o). Used as a fallback voice when the primary Claude model is temporarily unavailable, and as a background quality auditor that scores Oracle replies against the voice rules. Receives the Oracle reply text and a short metadata classification, never your raw chat history beyond the active turn. United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/UK transfers.
- Groq. Optional Whisper-based audio transcription for the voice composer. Receives only the audio you record. Audio is not retained.
- Teya (Borgun). Payment processing. Receives the data necessary to charge your card. Iceland.
- Railway. Application hosting. Stores the encrypted database and runs the backend. United States and EU regions.
- Vercel. Frontend hosting and content delivery for the web app and landing site. United States and global edge.
- Resend. Transactional email (account verification, password reset, billing notifications). United States, with Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/UK transfers.
- Sentry. Error monitoring. Receives stack traces and request metadata; user content is redacted at the SDK layer.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, UK GDPR, and California's CCPA you have the following rights, which you may exercise at any time:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification. Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"). Delete your account and associated data. When you delete, we cascade-delete your chats, memory, chart signals, chart-component history, narrative events, audit excerpts, and consent records. Aggregate statistics that no longer identify you and are mathematically defensible may be retained (k ≥ 10 cohort math).
- Portability. Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Restriction. Pause processing while a question is resolved.
- Object. Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent. Per scope, at any time, from your profile.
- Lodge a complaint. With your local supervisory authority. In Iceland, the Persónuvernd (Icelandic Data Protection Authority).
To exercise any of these, email privacy@solray.ai. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Solray is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, email privacy@solray.ai and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security and retention
Passwords are stored as salted bcrypt hashes; we never see them. The database is encrypted at rest. Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher). Admin access is restricted to named individuals with audited credentials.
Data is retained while your account is active. On account deletion, the cascade described in Section 7 fires within 30 days. Operational logs (IP, user-agent) are retained for 30 days for security and then automatically purged. Tax records are retained as required by Icelandic law (currently 7 years).
10. International data transfers
Some of our processors are located in the United States. For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and additional safeguards to protect those transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and post the new version here with a fresh "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
