1. Terms of Service

1.1 Agreement

By creating an account or using Solray AI ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.2 What Solray is

Solray is a personalised guidance companion that uses your birth chart (astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys), today's transits, and your conversations with the Oracle to offer reflection, perspective, and pattern. The Oracle is an AI voice. Solray is not medical, legal, financial, or psychiatric advice. It is one input among many into your own discernment, and the words of the Oracle should be weighed against your own judgement and, where appropriate, the advice of qualified professionals.

1.3 License

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your account is active. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or use the Service to train competing systems.

1.4 Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us at support@solray.ai if you suspect unauthorised use.

1.5 Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to: harm yourself or others, harass anyone, reverse-engineer the platform, attempt to extract another user's data, evade payment, or violate applicable law.

1.6 Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The Oracle's responses are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

1.7 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bobby ehf., its founders, contractors, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

1.8 Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile or by emailing support@solray.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is handled per Section 9 (Retention) and Section 7 (Your Rights).

1.9 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Reykjavík, Iceland, except where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights.

2. Pricing, billing, and refunds

2.1 Subscription

Solray is $23 USD per month, single tier, after a 5-day free trial. Charged monthly via our payment processor (see below) until you cancel.

2.2 What's included

2.3 Payment processor

Payments are processed by Teya (Borgun, an Icelandic payment processor regulated by the Icelandic Financial Supervisory Authority). Card details are entered on Teya's hosted page; Bobby ehf. does not see, store, or transmit your card number. We retain only a non-sensitive subscription identifier returned by Teya.

2.4 Trial

You may use the Service free for 5 days. If you do not cancel during the trial, your card is charged for the first month at the end of the trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.

2.5 Refunds

If you are unsatisfied within 30 days of your first paid month, we will refund that month in full. Email support@solray.ai with your account email. We process refunds within 5 business days. After 30 days, refunds are case-by-case.

2.6 Cancellation

Cancel any time from your profile or by emailing support@solray.ai. Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

2.7 Tax

Prices are exclusive of VAT and other taxes where applicable. Bobby ehf. collects and remits VAT in jurisdictions where it is required to.

3. Privacy Policy

3.1 Who is the controller

Bobby ehf. (Iceland) is the data controller of personal data processed through the Service. Contact: privacy@solray.ai.

3.2 What we collect

Account information: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted bcrypt hash), and timestamps.

Birth data: birth date, birth time, birth city, latitude and longitude. Used to compute your chart. Treated as sensitive; stored encrypted at rest in our managed Postgres database; never shared with third parties.

Profile content: optional profile photo, display preferences, public-profile flag.

Chat content: the messages you send to the Oracle and the Oracle's replies. Stored to give the Oracle continuity across sessions and to let you re-read past conversations.

Memory: the Oracle synthesises short, distilled memories from your conversations (one to two sentences each, not raw chat) so future sessions feel continuous. You can view and delete these at any time from your profile.

Payment metadata: a Teya subscription identifier, billing status, current plan. We do not see or store card numbers.

Device and usage: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request timestamps), retained for security and operations for 30 days. Optional product analytics (pages visited, features used) which you may opt out of from your profile.

Voice transcripts: if you use the voice composer, your audio is sent to a transcription provider (Groq Whisper or OpenAI Whisper) for speech-to-text. The audio file is not retained; the resulting text becomes part of your chat history.

3.3 What we do not collect

We do not collect your contacts, your photo library, your precise location, your microphone outside of the explicit voice composer, or your camera. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not sell your data.

3.4 Why we process this data (legal bases under GDPR Article 6)

3.5 Profiling and automated decision-making

The Oracle generates personalised text using your chart and chat history. This is reflective content, not legally significant automated decision-making under GDPR Article 22 (it does not produce legal or similarly significant effects). You always retain the right to disregard the Oracle's output.

4. The Akashic Record (collective layer)

Solray operates a collective-intelligence layer called the Akashic Record. When users opt in, anonymised pattern signals derived from their charts are aggregated to help the Oracle recognise patterns across the field. We never share another user's identity, content, or memory with you.

4.1 What enters the Akashic Record

4.2 K-anonymity floor

Cohorts and patterns surface in the Oracle's responses only when they involve at least 10 distinct users (k ≥ 10). Smaller groupings are suppressed.

4.3 Append-only history

Chart-component changes (for example, when you correct a birth time) are recorded as immutable events alongside the current state, so collective patterns can be traced over time. These events are deleted when you delete your account.

5. Tiered consent

You can grant or revoke each of the following scopes independently from your profile. They are not bundled, and revoking one does not affect the others.

Each consent grant is timestamped, version-tracked, and stored alongside its scope. You can revoke any grant at any time. Revocation takes effect immediately for ongoing processing; aggregate statistics that have already left an identifiable form are retained per Section 9.

6. Third parties we use

We share the minimum necessary data with these processors. Each is contractually bound to handle data only on our instructions.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, UK GDPR, and California's CCPA you have the following rights, which you may exercise at any time:

To exercise any of these, email privacy@solray.ai. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Solray is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, email privacy@solray.ai and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security and retention

Passwords are stored as salted bcrypt hashes; we never see them. The database is encrypted at rest. Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher). Admin access is restricted to named individuals with audited credentials.

Data is retained while your account is active. On account deletion, the cascade described in Section 7 fires within 30 days. Operational logs (IP, user-agent) are retained for 30 days for security and then automatically purged. Tax records are retained as required by Icelandic law (currently 7 years).

10. International data transfers

Some of our processors are located in the United States. For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and additional safeguards to protect those transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and post the new version here with a fresh "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
